Ways to Give

Below are some of the most common ways you can support the Independence Institute area(s) of your choice, often while realizing tax benefits. No matter how – or how much – you give, your generosity will make a difference!

As you may know, the Independence Institute will be filing a civil rights lawsuit against the State of Colorado for the passage of several gun control laws that violate the Second and Fourteenth Amendments of the U.S. Constitution.  If you would like to contribute to the lawsuit, simply click on the donate button below.

    • Annual Giving - Ongoing, sustaining gifts that enable the Independence Institute policy centers to embrace opportunities and meet challenges
    • Planned Giving– Gifts carefully planned to help you meet your philanthropic and financial goals
    • Corporate and Foundation Sponsorships and Gifts - Corporate and foundation giving 
    • Matching Gifts– A way to multiply your generosity through your employer’s matching gift program
    • Honorary and Memorial Gifts– Honoring someone special with a gift supporting the Institute
    • Stock Gifts– Supporting the Independence Institute with gifts of appreciated stocks and mutual funds
    • Cash gifts– Outright gifts made via cash, check, credit card, or other means
    • Real and personal property– Real estate and marketable items of personal property
    • Gifts In-Kind – The Independence Institute has a wish list of items that you may contribute
