The Real Canadian Health Care Field Trip, 2009
The goal of this trip was to obtain a better perspective on the Canadian health care system by allowing American journalists to network with real Canadians who survived their "public option." We had six Canadians who were denied treatment under the current Canadian health care system lined up to speak and share their stories. We wanted to learn more regarding why they do not think their plan is a good plan for the U.S., as well as the ramifications and fear they have for Canadian patients who no longer will be able to receive treatment in the U.S. Here are the pictures:
