Independence Institute: Liberty Project The Liberty project funds general research and outreach of the Independence Institute as a whole. Through a variety of publications and public forums, the Institute provides citizens of Colorado and the nation with specific recommendations to help resolve important issues facing our communities. These issues include improving our educational system, containing health-care costs, widening economic freedom, and controlling violent crime.
Environmental Policy Issues: A collection of studies on a wide range of environmental issues: water policy, renewable energy, and open space policies. For smart growth and transit related environmental studies, check out our Center for the American Dream. Personal Freedom Issues: The surveillance state, spy cameras, asset forfeiture, political correctness, and "forbidden fruit" laws. Politics and Government Issues: What is the proper role of government? Social Policy Issues:Welfare, affirmative action, and funding of "cultural policies". Technology, Energy, and Utility Policies Issues: Energy, the internet, and the deregulated telecom industry. |
