About the Event
Golden, CO - Mr. Wendell Cox
is the principal behind The Public Purpose, a consultancy which has as its
mission to "...facilitate the ideal of government as the servant of
the people by identifying and implementing strategies to achieve public
purposes at a cost that is no higher than necessary".
Playing an essential role in that mission,
Mr. Cox has extensive experience consulting over and reviewing problems
with urban transit and growth in different cities throughout the world.
As he seeks to debunk the new myths and
misrepresentations which have sprouted up around these problems, Mr. Cox
asserts that the prospects for urban/suburban growth and improvement must
be un-coupled from politics and political ambitions if they are to be
realized.
